Comedy Central’s Broad City is, quite easily, the funniest thing on TV right now, and if you aren’t watching it, you really should be. Sleater-Kinney, meanwhile, are the greatest band in the universe. Broad City creators and cast members Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer have said that they wouldn’t be who they are without Sleater-Kinney. Sleater-Kinney just came back with No Cities To Love, their first album in 10 years, and Broad City just returned for its second season. It seems natural to bring these five women together, so that’s what NPR did. On Friday night, Jacobson and Glazer interviewed Sleater-Kinney onstage, in front of an audience, at New York’s Ace Hotel. NPR has posted the full video of the conversation. It’s almost an hour and a half long, which means I’m not going to have time to watch the whole thing until tonight. But maybe you can! Watch it below.
No Cities To Love is out now on Sub Pop. Broad City airs Wednesdays at 10:30 eastern on Comedy Central. New episode tonight!
