Pet Symmetry – “Gone, Gone, Gone (Even Further Gone)”
Pet Symmetry, one of the many projects of Into It. Over It.’s Evan Weiss, will soon release the humorously titled Pets Hounds. We’ve previously heard “Give Thanks (Get Lost)” and “Class Action Force (Useless Tools),” and now here’s another parenthetical effort. With its immensely catchy nasal vocal and heavy rhythmic undertow, “Gone, Gone, Gone (Even Further Gone)” reminds me of a mid-’90s alt-rock radio hit infused with just a pinch of the same era’s scraping Midwest underground rock.
