Nile Rodgers is a famous name, but most people probably wouldn’t be able to pick him out of a crowd, which makes him a perfect candidate to do some undercover busking on the streets of London. Taking a page out of U2’s playbook, the guitarist played some music on the Southbank the day after he performed at the British Summer Time Hyde Park concert this weekend. According to the video’s Youtube description, the gig was part of a new show called Guitar Star that airs on Sky Arts in the UK. He picked up £12.30 (or about $20) for his efforts in about 20 minutes, which is less money than it took to convince someone to eat an Odd Future member’s vomit. He apparently performed for a crowd of around 35 people. Check out video below.
