This is the world we live in: First we get a 15-second teaser of a teaser and, now that the teaser is here, it’s only a minute-long and expects you to wait around for the first full-length trailer. Ugh! But when the thing in question is the upcoming ’70s music-themed HBO series Vinyl — executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter — that anticipation seems worth it. You can’t really tell much about how the series will actually play out, but it sure is exciting to watch — pretty much the epitome of “sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll” in video form. Check it out below.
Vinyl premieres sometime next year.
