Jesse Hale Moore – “Every Time”

Jesse Hale Moore – “Every Time”

Jesse Hale Moore is a Philadelphia musician who has played in bands like Nightlands and Auctioneer, and now he’s struck out on his own, making lush and sincere white-people R&B. The War On Drugs bassist Dave Hartley, who played with Moore in Nightlands, produced “Every Time,” Moore’s debut single. Moore’s press bio mentions acts like Rhye and How To Dress Well, but honestly, “Every Time” sounds more to me like it belongs to the Sam Smith nü adult-contemporary wave. The Michael Bolton revival might just start here. Listen below.

“Every Time” b/w “Holding A Sign” is out 11/6 on Canvasclub/Atlantic.
