Both Crutchfield sisters are big fans of Lucinda Williams, an affinity that only makes too much sense. Allison covered the folk songwriter’s track “Something About What Happens When We Talk” with Radiator Hospital’s Sam Cook-Parrott earlier this year, and her sister Katie has taken to covering Williams’ “Greenville” live over the past few months, a track from her 1998 record Car Wheels On A Gravel Road. She’s also been covering “I Lost It” from the same album. Footage of that one hasn’t made its way online just yet, but you can watch her do “Greenville” below. It’s great! Of course it is.

Waxahatchee’s latest album, Ivy Tripp, is out now via Merge.
