Last month, we posted “Taken,” a giddy and inventive indie-pop song from the Scottish composer Anna Meredith. Today, she’s got a new video for the song, and it’s just as giddy and inventive as the song itself. Director Ewan Jones Morris used a whole lot of splitscreens to make a vivid mosaic of jumbled images: Musicians playing, lamps turning on and off, feet tapping, eggs frying. And the way it keeps changing unpredictably is both chaotic and fun. Check it out below, via NPR.
Meredith’s new album Varmints is out 3/4 on Moshi Moshi.
