We heard a pair of tracks from Margaret Glaspy way back in January, songs that demonstrated the ATO signee’s ability to breathe life into old-fashioned rock stylings by virtue of winsome personality and prodigious guitar work. Now she’s announced her debut album Emotions And Math and shared the title track, a straightforward rocker with Spoon-worthy sonics and a pinch of twang. As per usual, Glaspy’s confident vocals and riffs are the dual driving forces here; it’s almost like her voice and guitar are duetting against the steady backbeat. Listen below.
