A couple of weeks ago, Danny L Harle, the PC Music-affiliated UK producer, teamed up with Chairlift frontwoman Caroline Polachek for “Ashes Of Love,” a busy, giddy, all-over-the-place dance-pop song. The two make an oddly beautiful pairing, and you can see that at work in the brand-new “Ashes Of Love” video. In the clip, we see Polachek’s face projected on a screen in some sort of glitched-out digital universe, and it’s like her voice is soundtracking the end of another world. Watching the video is something akin to watching the Eurovision Song Contest on a stolen and half-broken cable connection while on some very bad drugs. Check it out below.
