Last night, two comedy legends came face-to-face, as “Weird Al” Yankovic, still promoting his two-year-old album Mandatory Fun, was a guest on the Late Show Wit Stephen Colbert. Yankovic did perform on the show, singing his grammar-nerd Robin Thicke parody “Word Crimes” while wearing a Thicke-esque suit and hopping up on Colbert’s desk. But he and Colbert also sat down for a lovely conversation, discussing things like Yankovic’s ability to stay on top of musical trends and his devotion to the accordion. Watch the performance and the interview below.
Mandatory Fun is out now on RCA.
