Philly alt-rock outfit Cave People just released Sinning Tree, their first full-length album, and today they’ve given us a video for the song of the same name. Directed by Sarah Trad and Kevin Tomasura, the video features frontman Dave Tomaine trading with a troll in an attempt to plant a tree, eventually resulting in the planting of himself. The lyric “I name you everything grown so deep inside of me” is put into a different light as we see Tomaine begin to be buried (willingly, not Vol. 2 of Kill Bill-ingly) in the woods.
