The War On Drugs won’t launch their tour behind A Deeper Understanding until September, but last night they played an intimate comeback performance at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. In addition to performing advance singles “Thinking Of A Place” and “Holding On” for the first time, they also debuted “Pain” and “Strangest Thing” and covered Warren Zevon’s “Accidentally Like A Martyr.” Below, check out lengthy footage of “Thinking Of A Place” plus a portion of “Holding On.”
