Jay Z was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame during a ceremony at NYC’s Marriott Marquis Hotel tonight, making him the first rapper ever to be inducted into the New York-based institution. In celebration, Tidal put up a page featuring tributes from artists like Timbaland, Pharrell, Jon Bon Jovi, Bono, Rakim, and more, and Jay Z has been tweeting out thanks to the many, many people who inspired him.
