If you thought torture scene soundtracks peaked when Mr. Blonde cut off a rookie cop’s ear to the tune of “Stuck In The Middle With You” in Reservoir Dogs, I would have to agree with you. But there’s a strong case to be made for CBS’s MacGyver blasting Pig Destroyer. On Friday’s episode, Angus MacGyver and his partner are being held in a fallout shelter when they hear a devilish voice counting down. “The Bug” from 2012’s Book Burner roars as the two cover their ears and clench their eyes shut. Not very metal of them. The Richmond band shared the clip to their Facebook page: “That’s right you heard The Bug by Pig Destroyer on CBS’s Macgyver last night!” Check it out below.
