An Horse – “This Is A Song” Video

Last year, An Horse returned with their first new song in seven years, “Get Out Somehow.” The duo, no longer based in Australia, are now split between New York and Montreal, and they hit the road hard for their comeback. In May, they’ll release a new album, Modern Air — their first since 2011’s Walls — that makes it sound like they never left, but still feels freshly invigorated from their extended hiatus.

Today, they’re sharing “This Is A Song” from it, the album’s opening number and a blast of rousing energy. It’s an anthem about inclusion and progress, filled out by cooing harmonies and Damon Cox’s heavy drums. “We are okay now/ We made it through somehow,” Kate Cooper sings. “For all the times we didn’t belong/ And all the times they got us wrong.”

The track’s attached to a music video directed by Jarod Evans. Watch and listen below.
