Back in 2018, Trust Fund — the band led by Ellis Jones — announced that they were breaking up following the release of their last album Bringing The Backline. It seemed like a permanent state, especially after the project got a whole tribute album the following year with contributions from Frankie Cosmos, the Spook School, and more. Since Trust Fund disbanded, Ellis has published a book (DIY Music And The Politics Of Social Media) and become a professor, but today is back with a new track under the Trust Fund name, the warm and twinkling “can’t take it.” Check it out below.
