T-Swift warned me about people like you and your undercutting ways
I push "Take My Head" onto anyone who listens, it' so goddamn catchy
As if I needed another reason to listen to this song 200 more times
It'd be cool if a show did just this as its format, or maybe British people are just better to watch, I don't know.
That production, with that beat, and with that clarinet, makes me way more excited than Floridada did.
They're undoubtedly a desert island band for me
Bad Habits makes me pretty excited for this, has some older arctic monkey's influences floating around it, which, me gusta
This was, fittingly, my most played song of 2015, so.
Her music is like drinking a glass a milk, fine and dandy. Then she talks (and laughs), and I feel like an asshole for making that comparison.
2016 will not be taken lightly and wishes for 2015 to suck it
Holy shit, that Lady Gaga song is in fact a long, lost Strokes song. Side note: the leak of Juicebox turned me onto Stereogum, so it holds fond memories, that and I didn't hate it.
However many months later and this record is still getting stronger
Call it recency bias, but this might be one of the most impressive lineups I've ever seen. The first five acts alone are worth the price.
Agreed on both of those, especially Sufjan's; The guy can craft a damn fine album. Freaking Fourth of July.
It wasn't bad, it just felt a little too try-hard for try-hard's sake. On a song like Stressed Out, yeah it works, but a couple of 'em are just meh, much like this comment.
That Turnover album probably won't get mentioned a ton, but the amount of hooks it has is ridiculous, especially Take My Head.
That Joan Shelley album is, fuck me, underrated. Stay on My Shore is such an excellent song.
Yeah, this is pretty good, but Ladybird has my heart
I can take or leave most of the OFWGKTA stuff, but Earl's shit usually delivers, this included.
I wish I could inject them and Andrew W.K. into my veins every morning.
Radio 4 and Ambulance LTD, geez that was a while ago
It is remarkable just how distracting his drumming here
I thought when I Googled these that the first link would lead to some onion/satire like site. How wrong I was.
I'm glad you mentioned the solo in "Cleopatra." I'm a sucker for awesome transitions, and the entrance into that one hits a sweet spot. Really this whole album is a nice surprise.
Weezer+Ric Ocasek=gold, hopefully.
I wouldn't mind a whole album of this.
I can't honestly tell if his whole persona is a shtick or not, but I'm pretty sure whatever he is doing he's taking it pretty seriously. His songwriting and just general musicality is pretty good stuff.
I know it's only a b-side but "Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You" somehow wormed it's way into one of my favorite Monkeys tunes. "The Hellcat Spangles Shalalala" ain't too bad either.
That and 505 absolutely made that album for me
Mmmm, has kind of a Lust Lust Lust vibe to it.
I can't believe I let this chick's music slide through the cracks
I might throw On Melancholy Hill up a little higher but we'll just agree that every Gorillaz song is good and call it a day.
That little clip sounds at worst kind of fun, not the forced-to-take-our-little-sister-to-the-park fun, but like "hey man, let's throw a refrigerator into this running body of water" fun.
I hope he continues to make music or something to that capacity forever.
This felt like it was gonna fall apart any second, which of course is awesome
Well this is pleasantly awesome
