Help me scrape the mucus off my brain.
I don't see why fans glorify Pinkerton. It was hailed as crap when first released and time has not changed that. The superiority that is the blue album will never be overcome.
I don't care for Jimmy Fallon...something about his smug looking face as he subtly laughs at his own jokes sometimes just really bothers me.
2010 has been a dry-spell of music with the exception from like 3-5 bands...
Pretty decent list but 'I Want to Hold Your Hand, Yesterday and Come Together' should be much lower on the list. As a stereogum commentator (whose opinion should be held in high regard) I would put 'I Want You (She's So Heavy), Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and/or Across the Universe much higher. But with the amount of great Beatles songs, it's hard to narrow it down to the top 10.
Woops...not in reference to Warpaint. Accidentally pressed reply here.
I hate this lo-fi bullshit that keeps getting popular for some unexplainable reason. It's very bland and generic.
So are you telling me I can have the raw and untamed look like the Sex Pistols and smell like them now? SIGN ME UP!
These doods keep getting more lazy...but it's Weezer.
Arcade Fire, Strokes, Radiohead.
Never cared for this "chillwave" genre crap. I tried with Neon Indian and it didn't click. It just sounds so plain and unoriginal. "Sundriped" for example sounds like a cheap knockoff of the "Reading Rainbow" television show theme song.
"Many times in life I’ve had to deal with moments of doubt." He hides it so well...
It doesnt look favorable at all for that woman.
What the hell happened to the Klaxons...
Small loss. Hard Summer has a better line up anyways.
Her music was good at first...now she is just trying too hard to push that "I'm original" angle which is not working anymore. I'd say it sounds like a failed R&B song of a wanna be Crystal Castles group.
At first this band had some potential but then went downhill. Eventually they hit rock bottom and will not be missed or noticed.
Not too much of a fan of Celestica. I want to see videos for Baptism or Pap Smear. Fuckin Fantastic!
btw both songs are equally horrible. However Plastic Beach has other strong songs.
Love the Lips but I only wish they could have made videos like this for some older songs.
What the hell is with these loser bands shamelessly advertising themselves on Stereogum. Anyways, the Wayne pic is dope.
Remember kids, sometimes being original isn't all that great...
It's about time Stereogum retrieved more info on this young gent. I managed to catch him during his Bootleg shows in February and he was amazing. Can't wait to snag his latest album.
Well that was boring. I guess I'm a hater.
I know right? I thought I was pompous with regards to music but there has not been a single Jack Johnson fan I have met that didn't sound self-righteous for liking the guy.
It's a shame hip hop died five years ago...
M.I.A. = Female Kanye West
Indeed what the hell...? Are they going for some progressive rock sort of style now?
Black Keys are pretty damn out there these days...I like it. My only complaint is that Frank didn't make a cameo in the video.
The internet is serious business and you should hold every comment accountable to how you are as a person depending on how it was up- or down- voted lol. Who gives a crap about downvoting or upvoting anyways onto the Wolf Parade. These doods never fail to impress and this album is another fine piece to add to their indie legacy.
The world is a little darker today...or should I say brighter.
I always hope these peeps will blow me away even though they make solid albums.
This is playground shit. Everyone knows to just ignore the internet trolls.
