M.I.A. needs to get off of Sleigh Bells nuts...they are good but not great.
People write all over that wall anyways...
My my...what shameless and terrible band advertising on behalf of stereogum commentators.
"Ghost Pressure" sounds really good, something different from their continually growing style. "What Did My Lover Say" has some particular parts that sound similar to AMZ but that's not a bad thing either. Looking forward to the entire release!
I want to buy that dinosaur!
Prince and the Smiths should be a lot lower.
Well that was godawful...on to the next story.
It's nice but nothing shall ever beat the original...ever.
Apparently this Toaster guy is cooler than Ryan Dicks.
Oo nice! I caught her last year and Rockwell is just great. Although this sounds a lot more poppish than last I heard her.
Mmm the Ghost Rider lyrics are far superior. Marvel for the win.
Every song gets better and better. I liked Compliments and Laredo but Factory is far better than the aforementioned.
Damn this is the bees knees. Been waiting for some new material for a long time!
I Can Be a Frog was cool and this one was alright. I can't even find the words to describe Watching the Planets.
These doods are very under-rated and I blame Pitchfork for that.
I have a inexplicable craving for Bud Light Golden Wheat now.
Lolla > Coachella
This is some of the best news to come in weeks. These gents always make great music. Apologies to the Queen Mary and At Mount Zoomer are amazing albums.
These doods are still good. Too many haters.
Hearing that mini-interview was a bit disheartening. But whatever, if they break up that just means more amazing solo work.
Merton is going to end up touring with Ben Folds.
I've listened to most of it and its not bad...but its not great. Seems like they kind of took a step back to rework their style and in the process sound unlike what was thought they would put out.
It definitely sounds the same...but as JaggerT said, you could probably find that same progression in tons of other songs.
This is the best thing Julian Casablancas has ever done.
Pretty good and I dont think much of The National.
I want some redemption for the god awful album 'First Impressions of Earth'
I want new tunes from these doods, not shows.
These peeps be weird.
Well it's official...Im jumping the MGMT band wagon once more. I managed to snag the "Congratulations" single before it was taken down and I was blown away. Too damn good. For the rest of ya. http://hypem.com/track/1058277/MGMT+-+Congratulations
I like what I hear but I need more!
Meh. I don't see what the big gripe is about...I was more awestruck when they had digitally sewn together John Lennon's voice in those recent One Laptop Per Child commercials...that was fuckin wrong.
I've only made it to fourth track so far and its alright. But maybe Im being biased cause I'm holding it to the standard of Demon Days which was amazing.
Mmmm i could care less for all this gimmicky crap they are doing and just wait till the actual album drops.
I love Owen. If you peeps love this song then check out videos on YouTube for his performance at the Hillside Festival in Guelph. Literally one of the most memorable acts in my book.
Damn too far to catch one and even if I could, the ticket prices are damn expensive.
