I'm not a Springsteen fan, but this comment is ludicrous. Delete it immediately.
Also the whole John Carpenter remixes album on Sacred Bones... anything of his really. Or are soundtracks out of bounds?
Do you have the Environments app? Indispensable.
Something fishy about this comment.
If you zoom in on that picture of Lizzo, her torso looks a bit like a silly face. Or did somebody already say that. Or should I simply shut up now.
I was ready to straight up kick your ass if this didn't get a 10/10.
Counterpoint: you didn't miss anything
Was Voltaire speaking specifically of Rush lyrics? I feel certain he was.
Belew is polarizing (as he was in the band) however Discipline is an innovative and enduring record. (As an aside, I read somewhere that Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz wanted to kick David Byrne out of Talking Heads and install Belew as leader; he wisely demurred.) Aside from that, Red is indubitably the best Crimson record. Although I vaguely remember liking Thrak, even though that sounds like phlegm rattling around in an old man's chest.
There were a couple Rockwell Knuckles songs I loved from a few years ago... especially "Every Angle"... nice to see him pop up again. Aside from that... I love Shadow but not sure how I feel about all the guests... His best work didn't have any of that.
If I walked into a bar and this band was playing I would turn around and walk out. Also Axl Rose's head looks like a decomposing pumpkin.
You will pry my Pono from my cold dead hands! Assuming you want it that is.
Love it. Love her. When we saw her a couple years ago the music playing before she came on stage was Fripp/Eno, and I loved that too.
My god, who could have ever predicted that a Snoop Dogg show would be raunchy. I am shocked and, frankly, borderline appalled.
Sad to read this news. I remember being blown away by his album "Horses and Trees," as well as the album he did with Fela Kuti. I also think it's worth noting that Baker was way ahead of his time in terms of appreciating and trying to build a wider audience for African music. Even if he was an ornery son of a bitch.
Must women musicians be pitted against each other?
Thanks for the heads up on Carla dal Forno, I love her so. We saw her in Brooklyn a couple years ago and she was great. Also super nice.
Didn't Robertson write most or all of the lyrics? Or did I make that up.
He sure has a lot to say about his own song. One might think the work would speak for itself.
When i saw her last year she was so frigging great.. Really excited for this record.....
Really... I will have to go back to it...
Morrissey has, unfortunately, been a racist for quite some time. We still love his early, funny work though.
If Kim Jong Un joins up with them it will be hella lit.
Just checking in to say the new Moon Duo is frigging awesome. Also Doom Uno is a solid anagram of their name. Also also: saw Blanck Mass on Monday and he was great. Would highly recommend. p.s. fuck Billy Joel except Glass Houses.
