Tomas Barfod’s Pulsing is among the young year’s finest EPs, particularly the songs on which the Danish producer pairs with a vocalist. (“Happy,” which was “the sad ’Happy’” even before Woodkid made this, will absolutely destroy you.) And now Barfod has graced us with another transcendent duet with the help of Super Furry Animals leader Gruff Rhys. “True To You,” which will appear on a Record Store Day 7-inch in the UK and Denmark only, is a heartwarming ballad of devotion powered by warm squelching synths and a gentle, weary lead vocal. Hear it below, where you’ll also find details on Barfod’s upcoming full-length.

Today also brings the news of Barfod’s first full-length for Secretly Canadian. It’s called Love Me, it’s coming this June, and it features lots more promising team-ups with the likes of Luke Temple, Night Beds, and Nina K (plus the previously released Nina K collab “Pulsing“). It also includes a solo track called “Destiny’s Child.” Here’s the tracklist:

01 “Bell House” (Feat. Luke Temple)
02 “Pulsing” (Feat. Nina K)
03 “Destiny’s Child”
04 “Busy Baby” (Feat. Nina K)
05 “Honey” (Feat. Sleep Party People)
06 “Blue Matter” (Feat. Jeppe Kjellberg)
07 “Waiting For Us” (Feat. Nina K)
08 “Mandalay”
09 “Sell You” (Feat. Night Beds)
10 “Lost” (Feat. Pell)

And here’s a 22-minute mini-mix featuring music from Love Me and other tracks:

The “True To You” 7-inch is out Record Store Day (4/19) in the UK and Denmark, and Love Me is out 6/9 in Europe and 6/10 in the US, both via Secretly Canadian. Pre-order Love Me here.
