Hundred Waters - The Moon Rang Like A Bell

The idiosyncratic Florida synth-drift quartet Hundred Waters are about to release their sophomore album The Moon Rang Like A Bell, which finds some fascinating and oblique ways to conjure lump-in-throat beauty. It’s a big step forward for a group who already sounded like nobody else. We’ve posted their songs “Cavity,” “Xtalk,” the stunning “Down From The Rafters,” and the bonus track “Nowhere.” And right now, the whole album is streaming at NPR.

The Moon Rang Like A Bell is out 5/27 on OWSLA.

  1. Pretty darn good stuff. Can tell this is going to be a grower. Aesthetically and production-wise pretty much flawless. Singles didn’t grab me much at first but I have more appreciation for them when taken with the album as a whole.
