Shamir has had a banner year between the release of the stupendous Northtown EP and the next-level “On The Regular.” He recently recorded a live session for BBC Radio 1 at London’s Maida Vale Studios. He sings a few tracks and conducts an interview with radio host Huw Stephens where he talks about how he got started and his ascent to XL.
