We premiered the first single off Geronimo!’s final release, the three-song EP Buzz Yr Girlfriend: Vol. 4 — Why Did You Leave me?, back in February. The song is called “Low Fruit On The Vine,” and I wrote approx. 150 words bemoaning the loss of one of my favorite Exploding In Sound bands. The Chicagoans announced that they were breaking up back in 2014, but it’s been a long, drawn-out conclusion. Geronimo! is slated to play a farewell show at Chicago’s Beat Kitchen on 3/28, and this new single, “They Put A Hook Inside Of Me,” is the second-to-last song we will hear from them. Listen below.
