Vic Mensa – “Danger”

After Kanye finished playing The Life Of Pablo at Thursday’s Yeezy Season 3 launch event, he premiered a new Vic Mensa song, possibly as a consolation for cutting the younger Chicago rapper out of “Wolves.” Now that new Vic Mensa song, a buzzing, aggressive thing called “Danger,” has officially arrived. Vic seems to fire some subtle shots at Drake, who has collaborated with the outerwear brand Canada Goose several times and raps “Tell Obama that my verses are like the whips that he in/ They bulletproof” on his new single “Summer Sixteen,” with the lines “I don’t like the way that niggas talking like they bulletproof/ Till they gotta find out what a bullet do/ Catch two in your Canada Goose, it’ll turn a nigga into proof.” Listen below.

Vic Mensa’s new album Traffic is still on the way.
