Neil is an absolute lunatic with these mashup albums. Glad to see him featured here. The variety of sounds & references he melds together is insane. No music makes me burst out laughing quite like this. He's got like 10 songs that feature the full "All Star" vocal take. I also love the ones where it clearly doesn't work at all but he still puts it on the record, like Mouth Sounds' "Imma Let It Be" which plops Black Eyed Peas' "Imma Be" right on top of "Let It Be" and lets em run.
Capture is such a solid record front to back. Definitely will be returning to it to enhance oncoming autumnal vibes. Sadly this one doesn't do as much for me.
His first two records Break Mirrors & Heigh Ho are certainly worth a listen. He's so kind to sound. Put out an ambient project in 2018 that was pretty neat as well.
At some point (in particular, right after the Ritual Union record) Little Dragon decided to not be fun anymore and everything since has been staid, expensive sounding mood music. This seems to be more of the same. Bummer.
Best band around right now. This song is so fantastic. The two recordings of the drums panned on each side combined with their awesome guitar work is so cool. Also, I believe this song is just called "A Place to Start".
