Flying Lotus makes a pretty good rapper, for a guy who’s mostly known for making jazzed-out stoner-odyssey productions. And when he raps, he raps under his Captain Murphy alter-ego. Murphy will show up alongside Snoop Dogg on “Dead Man’s Tetris,” a track from the forthcoming FlyLo album You’re Dead! But this also appears to be a Major Lazer situation, where the recording artist is also a cartoon superhero with his own vague mythology. Captain Murphy (who apparently looks a lot like Rick Ross) is the star of a new Adult Swim-produced video from director Lilfuchs. In the clip, a group of young man imagine where Murphy might come from. There is a lot of blood. Watch it below.
