Legendary Beach Boys singer-songwriter Brian Wilson has come crashing back into the forefront with his biopic set to premiere at SXSW in just over a week and his 11th solo album, No Pier Pressure, due in April. In addition, Wilson will be the focal point of Brian Fest, a tribute concert to benefit the Jameson Neighborhood Fund, at the end of the month. It will feature Wayne Coyne and Steve Drozd of The Flaming Lips, Bethany Consentino, Brandon Flowers, Norah Jones, Local Natives, Boz Scaggs, and Ann Wilson of Heart just to name a few — and of course Brian Wilson himself. Each act will sing one of Wilson’s many timeless tunes. The official name of the concert is Brian Fest: A Night To Celebrate The Music Of Brian Wilson. It’s going down on 3/30 at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets are available here starting 3/5.
