A few months ago, Jack Ü, the international-DJ-superstar duo of Diplo and Skrillex, released their surprise debut album Skrillex And Diplo Present Jack Ü. A whole lot of people’s favorite song from the album was “Where Are Ü Now,” which teamed the duo up with Justin Bieber. That’s partly because of the novelty of hearing the Biebs singing a heart-wounded EDM love ballad and partly because it’s just a good song. It blew up without even becoming a single. And now the duo has released a whole new EP of “Where Are Ü Now” remixes. There’s a Kaskade remix on there, because of course there is, as well as a Marshmello reworking and a vocal cover from Easter Island. But the most immediately intriguing remix comes from the Scottish dance-music maximalist Rustie, who has turned in a giddy, smeary take on the song.
