Lil Wayne & Charlie Puth – “Nothing But Trouble”

Lil Wayne is apparently planning to unleash his Free Weezy Album upon the world over the holiday weekend, but his latest song doesn’t appear to have anything to do with that. Instead, “Nothing But Trouble” will appear on the soundtrack of 808, the new documentary about the iconic 808 drum machine. The song would count as a bluesy relationship track, but “bluesy” does not begin to take into account the lighter-than-air hook from Charlie Puth, who previously sang on Wiz Khalifa’s monstrously huge “See You Again” and who our own Chris DeVille called “despicably saccharine” and “a scourge.” Listen to “Nothing But Trouble” below.
