The Australian artist Carla dal Forno, who moved from Melbourne to Berlin and now resides in London, is releasing her sophomore album, Look Up Sharp, next month. She’s shared two songs from it, “So Much Better” and “Took A Long Time,” and today she’s revealing another one called “No Trace,” which opens the album in an oppressive heat. It’s a master class of simmering tension, dal Forno’s vocals haunting against swaths of synths that sound like the walls losing in on you. Listen below.
