The 2024 DNC had Jason Isbell and Lil Jon, but not Beyoncé. Rare miss, TMZ.
To quote the great Beyonce: We gotta lay our cards down, down, down ... we got this one wrong.

“I’m a random bitch. You’re a random bitch. Just think about that for a second, okay?” that really is a quote for the ages | |

You were probably a victim of spell check, but Ronald Reagan was known as “The Gipper.” Or perhaps you were writing about Nancy Reagan’s mouth.
The rare tracklist where half of the titles could be Black Eyed Peas songs and the other half could be TOOL songs
hell yeah good for her, all of that shit sounds awful her family didn't ask for this. And hugging someone you don't know?Fuck outta here.Don't fucking touch me.
Saint Vitus IS hosting events as “Saint Vitus Presents”. Saint Vitus Presents is very much alive and should not be spoken of in the past tense. There are a lot venues in play but none more than The Meadows and The Brooklyn Monarch. They also do shows in Jersey.Saint Vitus, the bar, is done for now. They are currently seeking a new location.
It's a sad fucking day but I have no doubt it will return. Some of the best shows I have ever seen have taken place there. And some of the best times I have ever had.I can't count the number of times I walked out of there bruised up, covered in sweat, and feeling rejuvenated. It's church.Gorguts, Blood Incantation, Bask, Sumac, Spectral Wound, Gravesend, Antichrist Siege Machine, Couch Slut, Panopticon (when I traded country music recs with Austin Lunn), Torche (the last show I saw before the shut down), Necrot, Ulcerate, Primitive Man, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Diabolic Oath, Knoll, Thantifaxath, Pyrrhon etc. etc.
Saint Vitus is dead. Long live Saint Vitus 🖤.
I know this is super beyond the point of any of this. I know that pointing out lies and hypocrisy among this crowd is pointless when they don't give a shit about the truth, or anything that doesn't get them power.
But it is EXTREMELY rich of this guy to say this would never happen under his presidency when a terrorist attack famously DID happen while he was president, at an Ariana Grande concert, and all he did was call the perpetrators "evil losers" and then move on with his day. Good fucking hell, I hate these people.
Chappel Roan is a character in the Faulkner novel "A Kìlling on Sunday". She is the nymphomaniac daughter of the wealthy iron baron who dies from a blood disease she aquires from a rusty nail she pricks herself with out of shame and guilt for carrying Nelse the half wit's love child.
People have always had boundary issues around celebrities but it seems like the craving for selfies has intensified everything in recent years. It's not enough to spot a celebrity, or say hi, or have a conversation with them, or maybe get an autograph, you need to have a moment with them now and document it for everyone. You see people just walking up to a celebrity, no exchange of words, and putting their arms around them for a selfie. It's so dehumanizing. At least before you had to choke up something like "I'm really into your work." Paul McCartney has said that he won't do selfies with fans but he'll have a conversation and I fully get that. Good on Chappell Roan if she's helping set the discourse straight on this.
but what if I just want to wear her skin
If the Swifties end up being the ones to take down Trump and AI for good, I will never ever complain about them or their God ever again.
