I've always thought Phil Collins has one of the great rock voices but, will never get the credit because of how poppy and uncool his solo and post-Gabriel Genesis work is.

This was the song that finally turned me on to the Gabriel era Genesis and (frankly, prog in general).

Based on the album cover, I'm guessing Pearl Jam is doing a track by track remake of Rush's "Permanent Waves?"

It all makes sense. Tucker and Brownstein want to make disco/pop music right now with SK and that's just not what Weiss does. It sucks and I'm sure that each party wishes the other was on their wavelength, but they aren't. I also wish I liked the new record, but I've been really underwhelmed by it.

I'm nearly speechless at how beautiful that was. She's incredibly talented.

Looking forward to the scene in the movie where they record "Staying Alive" for the Spics and Specs album.
