Yeeeeah that was my attempt and Misty-esque satire. CLUNK.
There sure were some great "Black" Fridays back in 2011 though, amirite? http://i.ytimg.com/vi/aZL6NvDuzu8/hqdefault.jpg
"It’s when those who hate you are allowed To sell you that you’re a glorious shit the entire world revolves around" is totally a ripoff of "And now every insufferable convo Features her patiently explaining the cosmos Of which she's in the middle" though.
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving.
I'm scrolling through the top comments and I get to number one and I'm all... http://i.imgur.com/jc3oBq7.png Thank you all for ignoring my blatant typo and carrying me to the top. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a Zero shirt and got a ton of shit from the popular kids in middle school. WELL LOOK AT ME NOW POPULAR KIDS!
THE ONLY WE BEING BULLIED HERE IS BILLY CORGAN'S TEE SHIRT!
THANK YOU COLIN. This is just straight D'angelo/Radiohead live band mashups and it has been blowing my mind off all day. The "Send It On" motif over the last two tracks is unreal.
BUT GUYS..... http://static.rogerebert.com/uploads/movie/movie_poster/groove-2000/large_vtOkzpBtutlhGsfqR1WitDGkG8R.jpg
Can you guys imagine how awkward it's going to be if, after all this hand wringing and perfectionism, this new album is not good?
Wow, when did you guys turn into apologists for unrepentant douchebaggery?
I'm just kidding like Jason (unless you're gonna do it). On a different note. There is no context in which what Ice Cube says up there is OK. Maybe you're playing us all with dad movie mediocrity and you're trying to show your true colors, but there are better ways to go than throwback misogyny. Get a clue.
Never to late to atone for those mistakes, Dre. Can I have some money?
Whatever guys, his father stormed the beach at Normandy, even if he is a looney up in Togas...

Didn't wanna be the under-dressed guy at the dance...
Hey has anybody checked out The Very Best's album from this year "Makes a King"? Because this shit is SO GOOD.

"At least I'm not Slipknot." -Kanye
How'd that backroom quasi-humility work out for you, Tywin?
A platform is a platform, and I'm glad she's using it. Consider the hundreds of celebrities that could say SOMETHING on the subject, and choose to say nothing...
ah, posted this before i saw your followup, carry on.
More like SAVESZIE Bone amirite? I'll show myself out.
Jaden Smith makes Lil B look normcore...
"War on Drugs: Put My Dick In Your Mouth All Day"
I just can't help but read this headline and then sing "and her head popped off!" in my head....
You don't get #311truthnow #311truthnow gets YOU.
Did he do Carrie and Lowell straight through in order, and then do a separate gang of older stuff? Just curious, seeing him tomorrow in Portland.

One other thing, with what Tom said about "i". "That song is on the album, but it’s buried near the end, in a live version for some reason." I think the reason is that he's performing it in front of a hometown crowd, trying to reach them, trying to get them to respond, and they're just not doing it. It's one of the bleakest moments on the record. I could just be hearing it that way, but that's how it struck me at first.
Last night after my first full front-to-back headphones listen, I logged onto the album post here planning to say something. After staring blankly at the blinking cursor for about 3 minutes I shut my computer. I don't hear a we're-all-in-this-together call to power here. I hear a how-have-things-gotten-to-this-point-of-fucked-upness-? desperation. I hear Kendrick wanting desperately to shift a paradigm, to flip the tape over and have the world be a kinder place. But that's a fantasy. I hear Kendrick realizing he's the biggest and most important rapper in the world, but simultaneously realizing that doesn't put him in a position to change anything on his own. It's tragic. I can't really listen to "Unknown Pleasures", because to me it has always been the sound of complete desperation, convalescence and surrender to something that's killing you. So my takeaway is this: I think this is probably a masterpiece. But it certainly makes me think about a lot of things, things that make me feel uncomfortable to have to think about, but I think that is productive in-and-of-itself.
