Little Dragon

The slinky, idiosyncratic Swedish pop group returns next month with the new album Nabuma Rubberband, and first single “Klapp Klapp” promised good things to come. Earlier today, the BBC DJ Zane Lowe played a second song from the album on the air. This one is called “Paris,” and it’s a lighter-than-air dance-pop thump with some R&B in its DNA. Listen to a radio rip of it below.

Nabuma Rubberband is out 5/13 on Loma Vista.

  1. The first tracks we’ve heard are pretty good. Little Dragon is a pretty solid group, kinda like a modern slicker take of Cibo Matto or something. Little Dragon has always kinda lacked that special X factor with me (except on some of their standouts). I never really feel overly motivated to put them on, but these first two tracks are really promising. This could be their best yet.

  2. Liking this a lot better than Klapp Klapp. Can’t wait to hear the new album!
