only if we can also place a moratorium on the term hipster ;)
if anything, the triggered would be the pileon downvoters, in my opinion. but that's just my free market opinion.
people say all kinds of things about articles in this website every day. what makes you think im triggered? im happy to just be snarky and downvoted on this particular issue.
is it who cares or is it destroying white supremacy? i feel like it cant be both of those things without causing some real cognitive dissonance.
i know. im sorry. this is how the system works. it's pretty stupid, too. but it's sort of representative of larger trends, isnt it? for what it's worth, i'm not some altright troll. i really think yall are wrong about cheering this shit on, and no, i don't think it's fighting racism or deplatforming white supremacy or whateverthefuck. tho i am aware that this cultural reckoning is pretty necessary and these things are rarely coherent when they happen. all the more reason, i guess i decided, to say it how i feel about it. sometimes snarkily.
i mean i work with a lot of older african american people. they're not famous or nothin but the most recent conversation i had about these sorts of things prompted them to tell me they thought it was sad that the youth was destroying so much of culture, and that they didn't seem to have a good sense of history. and that the grip of fear and hysteria that she sees so many people in is indicative of the real problem we're facing. i happen to agree with her. this was a woman whose parents fled the south. she's not a famous person, but she is a real person and her opinion isnt designed to make her famous or make money or to give her retweets or be reported on. she is representative of a lot of people that i meet and talk to since this started. when i just sit and listen and don't spend my time trying to dunk on culture for clicks. like presumably im supposed to be doing. so anyway, that's my opinion, and that's a little explanation as to why. please enjoy your echo chamber tho. really. it's not distorting your worldview like at all, at all.
try not to express too much thoughtfulness you might end up having to change your name.
it started stupid and has only gotten dumber by the minute

is the fun party over already? a few days ago i was ratioed over this exact sentiment.
what happens will be all that matters, at the end of the day. belief only factors into the motivating action part of things. and i am critical of the action and the outcome when it comes to bully pulpit moralizing.
are you saying it's not fun? cuz it sure looks like youre having fun. it's certainly not fucking activism. and it doesnt do a goddamn thing about the injustices in this country. but by all means, pat yourselves on the back about it. burn it all down. i dont really care. but remember how nixon won in a landslide in 68. FROWNY FACE EMOJI.
who knew the internet mob would be this much fun!

you have to opt in, if you control your music directly, to every service that has access to your music. i use cdbaby for distro, and tiktok was added as an option in february. it's a separate opt-in from spotify.
