did she get back together with dj regular fart?
this is as good a place as any to drop my favorite youtube cover video of all time (it's also probably my favorite MF song) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUgdQKigCf0&feature=emb_title
hold on, we're going home https://twitter.com/stereogum/status/1232077349815975939?s=20
this is great. found them in a youtube rabbit hole a few months ago and been eagerly awaiting the album. it does not disappoint.
well, this is a pleasant thing to wake up to
listening again now. i always forget how amazing the bass and drums are on this album. thing of beauty. everything sounds phenomenal.
so, i’d embarrassingly never heard of portrayal of guilt before tom’s post the other day. i listened to their new track and was blown away. then i watched the video spud posted from their audiotree session and i think i may have a new favorite band. time to update the rankings: hardcore tom > #1’s tom >>> rap tom
i feel like i'm at the point in my gummer career where i can guess the author of each article without looking at who wrote it. even without the radiohead fansite reference i knew this was a chris joint almost instantly. great read, and way to stick the landing there at the end, dude. gotta say, the writing on this site makes me so fucking happy sometimes (all the time) and it's getting better and better. it's also the reason this group of insufferable commenters isn't going anywhere soon. anyway - this is my fave ylt album and i will love it 4eva
he's not a scrub but he's definitely chasing waterfalls
a bass player, neil? trump probably thinks the "rhythm section" is where african americans were forced to eat before desegregation.
well, if it isn't the palindrome of the hour
no joke - i'm 99% sure i've seen her there before. vitus does get the occasional cutie pie, despite the vibe it throws off.
wish i could have joined you, my lil valentine. oh, and the most romantic metal song is 'strip nude for your killer' by coffinworm, obviously
this song rules. just when i thought i was out...
yes...with a hint of william idol

i saw them play tramps in nyc on that tour (i was 16). there were 30 people there for the foos and half of them were skinheads - they were actually pretty nice, aside from the whole hatred of others thing. at one point during mike watt's set, they lifted me up so i could crowd surf onto the stage and drop eddie my band's demo tape. i was successful, but then a bouncer threw me down a flight of stairs. and that's how i became meat! (not really)
here for the draag and bib albums. gonna be a good friday.
ahhhh, i'm in florida that week. ok, listening in 5, 4, 3...
i think riley walker is playing geeeetar with them on their upcoming tour, which we should most definitely get tix for.
i still love em. i'll still see them anytime they play nearby. but their new stuff is a haaaard pass.
i really hate to agree with you here but i do
these evaluations may be a bit premature
between this song and the microwaved fish my coworker decided to eat today, i'm afraid there is no hope
my dude! what’s good night shift?? (not night shift no more)
yeah they had a couple good ones and then *poof*. such is life.
someone should remake the 'gum comment section, but with GIRLS!
this is nice. holowpaw was also a random band from the mid-aughts that i used to chill to quite a bit. quit +/or fight was a great lil album. that is all.
poor mura masa backstage like https://media1.giphy.com/media/26uf41LGnD8V3kwU0/giphy.gif
waiting for the album to drop before i give it a full meat stamp, but i'm digging the first two singles.
i can deal with trump supporters, but i have zero tolerance for anyone who's still into the lumineers. the fuck is wrong with people?
she was in the mamas and the papas
yeah, i haven't heard anyone talk about it around here. shame, as it was such a great album.
