Agree - there were times in my life where for months on end I stayed inside, depressed, listening to music, drinking, smoking weed, and playing guitar and singing into a recorder, making little song sketches. This has never happened to me, but on the flip side, I've found song sketches I wrote years later on hard drives that I have no memory of, so I find his story 100% plausible.

The Zwan album was so good. he should have tried to make that band work until he was ready to put Pumpkins back together. he just got lost in the weeds imo with all the faux-pumpkins stuff
