Kinda dig the collection. Grabbed a LS shirt and def want the shorts. Andrew Savage of Parquet Courts did the A.I.R. Collection last year and the collection was also awesome
great list, Dogleg, Tame Impala, and Sports Team prob would make my top 20 this year all others are rightly recognized on this list. Waxahatchee #1 for me
Illinois will always be my top Sufjan LP. But the tour coinciding with this release was absolutely spectacular. he really brought it. I recall the show in Michigan opening with All Delighted People and playing all 25 mins of Impossible Soul. it was unforgettable
as an Oakland County lifer and a royal oak homeowner... i say im from Metro Detroit when asked by non Michigan people. i dont ride for the "Detroit"-ness like you see leveraged throughout the area, but i say im from Detroit the same way id imagine a Decatur person would say they are from Atlanta
did she really ever stand for Detroit, always seemed to claim NYC as her place
Just rewatched this a couple weeks ago, such an enjoyable film
i did not know that bit about Be Your Own Pet doing all the Sex Bob-Omb songs then they broke up. What a blast from the past, BYOP was fucking great and their stuff still holds up
as someone who was a dedicated Google Music user... they made the library transition to YT Music rather stress-free and looks like all my uploads went through no problem. Having to keep changing music apps every 5 years can get tiresome but the YT Music app has been quite similar to Google Music. these subscriptions coming with ad-free YouTube brings a ton of value to it imo.
considering the Ty Segall show in MI scheduled in Sept was finally cancelled last week, this timing for another tour seems quite hopeful, some might say hopeless
