Steve Lacy scored a surprise #1 hit with “Bad Habit” last year. Sampha released his long-awaited sophomore album Lahai last week. Those two plotlines have now converged at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, where Sampha covered “Bad Habit” while promoting Lahai. He makes it sound like it’s his own song. And speaking of his own songs, he also did a solo run through Lahai highlight (Lahai-light?) “Only” during this visit. Check out both performances below.
