"Talk to Me" deserves more love, if only for that part where the beat drops out and then comes back in HARD when El says, "My dick got a Michelin star, I'm on par with the best ever took the gig."
Never thought in the year of our lord 2020 my most anticipated release would be a Hamilton Leithauser solo album, but here we are. His post-Walkmen stuff is incredible.
Not to just echo everyone here, but what the hell is with this title? The theme of the movie literally appears to be about the sum being greater than the parts.

I went down a Pesci rabbit hole last night and this guy has a really weird history in the music industry. He was a journeyman guitar player and released his first album, Little Joe Sure Can Sing, in 1968. He can't, but that's ok. Joe Pesci still manages to surprise me after all these years.

Just a reminder that Kid Rock's entire "straight out the trailer" image is as contrived as it is stupid. He's like the rich kids I went to school with who talked about being in a "gang", but he never grew out of it like they did. He somehow grew more into it.
