Throwback to 2016 when I stayed in and did research for a project (THAT I DIDN'T EVEN END UP USING) instead of ponying up $25 to see her at the Fete in Providence
Goin Against Your Mind is their third-most streamed track on Spotify - I'd say by now it's one of their most famous ones.
That said, "Carry the Zero" is undoubtedly their crowning achievement.
Me with BSS a few years ago. The problem is I always end up stuck on one record; given, You Forgot It In People is a good record to be stuck on, but still
My (still very unfleshed out and subject to change) list as of now:
1. Beach House - 7
2. Vince Staples - FM!
3. Deafheaven - Ordinary Corrupt Human Love
4. The Voidz - Virtue
5. Ought - Room Inside the World
6. Them Are Us Too - Amends
7. Young Jesus - The Whole Thing Is Just Here
8. BROCKHAMPTON - iridescence
9. Flasher - Constant Image
10. Parquet Courts - Wide Awake!
I'm still doing some catching up, but overall I was pretty disappointed with this year. For reference, I think only my top 2 would have made my top 10 from 2017.
Cage had hits recently with Whole Wide World, Trouble, Cold Cold Cold, and Mess Around. Plus, their earlier hits still rummage around alt rock radio pretty frequently.

How's this for some mind fuckery:
John List, who is mentioned in the Watcher article because he murdered his family in Westfield (same town Watcher takes place), served time in Trenton State Prison.
You know who else served time in Trenton State Prison? Elmer Edward Solly.
It's the same kind of logic that leads to a hundred comments shitting on BØRNS after his accusation, but people being largely mum on Sigur Rós - people find it easier to believe people they already dislike can do bad things.
