yeah, i mean... even if they waited like 5 years or so to follow it up, by that point the meadowlands' legacy was solid, they could have easily capitalized on it with a string of strong albums and some touring. instead, they prioritized their day jobs and endless production hell for an album that never materialized. whoops.
