There'd been some whispers going on about this, but this makes it pretty clear the noise/North East scene knew Alexis was a POS but no one, except someone actually abused by him, was going to step up. Every time one of these things comes up, it just makes it clear that no scene in the US actually has any intention of purging abusers. I'm not sure what a comprehensive reaction would be, but, for the time, fuck Alexis, fuck the rest of the guys in Daughters and I hope Kristin can find some healing.
Equally glad to see Violet Cold and Fluisteraars love as I am to hear a bunch of stuff I missed! Honestly, a lot of metal passed me this year, outside of Portrayal of Guilt (depending on how you see them) and Mare Incognitum.

A close buddy of mine is going through something similar, opening his world back up to brand new interactions. It's tough as hell with COVID mucking up everyone's emotions as well. Godspeed homie.
