You mean “I Would Do Anything For Love” Meatloaf? Because I can totally imagine Flowers singing that song. The new record in pretty much exactly what I needed. Sure it’d almost ridiculously over the top bombast, (with lots of lyrics about White trash women trying to escape Las Vegas from what I could gather) but it’s so unquestionably great, so completely the best version of what it’s trying to be, that anyone would be a fool to deny it.

You can’t even get money right now to save people from homelessness. My neighbor in Lambertville is in a war with his landlord, and has refused to step out of his house because he’s banking on squatter’s rights. People in the neighborhood come walk his dog and bring him food. One local cop, who pretty much is friends with everyone in the neighborhood, tickets the landlord’s car when he sends contractor looking goons to try to evict. Appreciate that guy. He already said he would not enforce any eviction. The government has made it very clear that they don’t give a shit. But they best be careful because if shit gets desperate enough, people have already shown they will take to the streets. I wish it would happen again.
