Caterina Barbieri is pretty good at least, and so is Matmos, so not surprising they're up that high; i didn't think a comet is coming was all that satisfying personally; a bit more surprised by CRJ, Lizzo and Ariana, but okay, it's not like i can get inside these people's head and know what they're thinking. as usual i've only heard about 1/3 or these, so thanks for the heads up on a slow week

*gasp* electronic music in my stereogum? This guy has been one of my favorites for some years now, so it's great to see him get a bit more exposure (got a good p4k rating as well). I haven't heard this one yet but great to know that he put more of himself behind this record Kieran is a gem, and may Tony learn how to roast a chicken soon

it helps their brand and image, and doesn't necessarily have to be profitable by itself since it has other benefits for them also they're not the in the lawsuit but they'll still benefit from if it's favorable to spotify, so they can just keep their name away from it. i also haven't seen any statement on them, placing them on either side of the fence but for full disclosure i'm a bit biased against apple and am mostly talking out of my ass

Pretty sure the economic crisis did more for the tourism sector, by making everything cheaper for foreigners, than sigur ros did. Now they're back on track not only due to tourism, but mostly through political reforms, and their prices are mostly back to their former selves. Now that everyone realizes it's a beautiful and unique country, people keep flocking to it, but they had enough aluminium and codfish to get by comfortably anyway

Well my opinion is just my own, I'm positive you've done more valuable things than I ever have in my sad sorry life, even if some random guy will find your playlist picks to be dusty and uninspired for the better part of a year. I can live with it, as I'm sure you can as well. It wasn't my intention to say that you have no value; in fact I'll state that noone does more for the comment section than you do I'll be more careful with my phrasing if I ever engage you again

haha what the hell, i didn't think this'd get so much traction it was meant as a light jab but i guess these things can easily get lost in translation. i'll say it more politely then, i enjoyed your contributions to the playlist because they helped me discover new stuff; we've all go different tastes and mine are usually aligned with yours, bookworms' and unknownsignal's (possibly a couple more i forget) so yeah it bummed me out that for the past couple of months your pick is pretty much a throwaway for me i didn't know you had a radio show man, that's pretty sweet. i'd listen the shit out of it if i knew how
