Same with the guitar, you could tell hana was playing but it was mixed super quiet into the double tracked guitars from the original recording. Not that it even matters that they wrrent playing, but the performance was intereetig enough to make up for it imo
sc link is dead :9
One is for song writing and the other is for performance
tbh its bad, doesn't make the music bad but the tom in the right side is so loud and the guitar is so quiet lol
Thank you for introducing me to “Chaaya Chaaya”, honestly so fire.
You should have been here when Lana del Rey's first album was released, it was 100x more lanagum
Have you guys read the facebook comments from the post? How are there so many hateful sexist idiots following stereogum on facebook, but here people are actually intelligent :/
I was curious about it so I looked it up, he wrote 4 songs for them but was not a band member. http://www.billboard.com/artist/305726/kenny-loggins/biography
Coldplay's early work is an amalgamation of the ripoff of Raidohead/U2 made poppier, not really the best example although they have gotten worse, so theres that too.
the best one is with "how bout now?" by drake, pure gold.
Thats so great to hear, two of the members are part of my favourite Halifax band, Monomyth, seen them live a ton of times now. Actually saw them play a show with Nap Eyes opening but missed it because I got there later (Monomyth headlined). Didn't even realize Nap Eyes had a second album out recently too.
Crazy that he knows nap eyes, they're a band from the same small Canadian city as me. Didn't think they were that well known
This is the most family/radio-friendly verse I've heard.
How does the album compare to 'Goblin' though?
Did Albert take that photo in the studio? Lol
easily the best remix of a pop/rock song I've heard in a long time. Would have been awesome to see it live, his energy is so infectious.
You know, I'd probably go if it was only Axl and Slash but I'd feel sad. Guns N Roses were the first band I was a fan of, like a fanatic, I only wanted to play gnr songs on guitar, read everything imagineable about them. So to me it would feel hollow without the others (not that it wouldn't already feel hollow, but moreso), I really cared about that combination of guys playing together. I'm also speaking as someone who saw them when they were touring Chinese Democracy, that was a strange show, the performance was good but there were so many guitarists and they were literally imitating Slash (DJ Asha especially, lol). Separately, it feels so weird to see Chinese Democracy apologists here on stereogum, I bought it on cd when it came out hahaha and actually still enjoy some of the songs ("Better", anyone?).

I got shivers and then inexplicably broke into tears at the end.
..........that was meant to be a reply :(
DAMN, can Aunty Eva hook me up with a way to make over $1000 a week using only google?
I have a feeling SOPHIE is going to big time blowup once these are properly released.
C'mon Kevin, how could you make Donny Ta Tas wait? Don't you know who this man is?!?
No one every invites me to anything :( but then again I haven't been too active on the 'gum recently so i understand.
I hope that isn't the actual of the song beca use ending sucked, but the rest was great.
Yeah really, I hardly think Drake is operating at a loss, it's more important to me that the money is used to fund smaller and independent festivals like NXNE.
The America's Cup is one of the largest keelboat one design regattas in the world, attracting international talent all over. It isn't a "boating festival" it is a hugely popular sailing race series that happens annually and is followed by millions.
The ending is like Billy Corgan from "Today" chasing the Acolytes from "Mad Max" lol.
Yeah, that and it doesn't force them to put ads all over the site to cover their costs. The pro option for soundcloud is something like $5 a month which is worth it to me to support an ad free music platform (I still use free tier at this point though as I have less than 1000 followers and it would feel silly to do so). other shameless plug: https://soundcloud.com/big-general
I hate to say it but this song is so fucking boring, the drum sounds are just ugly and have really basic patterns. Also those synths are really generic sounding, this sounds like something Flume might make. I really hope the rest of the stuff he releases is more adventurous than this, I loved his TNGHT stuff and his Yeezus stuff and Chimes was decent, but this is just bad.
At the same time, fuck Danger Mouse, dude waters everything down that he touches.
that bass is so god damn smooth.
But in their defence, the Strokes failed to realize that the cops actually are smart because they clearly hacked the main-frame on this one. http://media.cmgdigital.com/shared/img/photos/2014/05/21/9e/32/hacker.jpg
This is hilariously awful and I hope wkik bans those I.P.s.
Happy to see "India Rubber" I've always enjoyed how both straight forward and weird that song is. It's sung pretty, and ends with a minute with that maniacal outro lol, gold.
