Is Scotty 2 Hotty the most referenced undercard wrestler in the history of rap music? Thinking in terms of guys who have never held a major promotion’s top belt
Love me some Jarre, Sakamoto, and Kraftwork, and yeah, I wanna sink my teeth more into Krautrock (the only Can album I own is Monster Movie, and I’m under the impression that as great as that album is it doesn’t capture the full extent of their sound?). I want to get into Vangelis because the record store I frequent has a bunch of used stuff, I’m just not exactly sure where to start. The Chariots of Fire theme may be a bit too sentimental for me.
Anyone have any recommendations for 70s/80s-style synth stuff? I've been on a Tangerine Dream/John Carpenter kick recently, really enjoy having it on while I work. Bonus points if it's something I can find at a used record store!
When Eddie Kingston called Andy Williams “Griselda’s favorite wrestler” on AEW Dynamite last week I popped hard. So glad that Butcher is getting an opportunity to shine in a headline solo match!
Still gotta listen to this album but I’m sure it slaps.
Didn’t Drake already do this on a loosie where he favorably compares himself to Johnny Manziel and said “if I left this up to chance I would have picked a name like Chance the Rapper”? Or was that just an extremely 2014-based fever dream?
I like King Night! I think the issue is that I’m so pilled on Vaporwave and Drain Gang stuff at this point that Witch House seems almost... quaint?
Anyways I don’t like the new song - it sounds like they just took an old freestyle and threw it on top of an in interlude from a Dimmu Borgir record. Maybe I’ll like the album?
Not to be another “where is ~whoever~” reply guy but where’s 10k.Caash at? Planet Swajjur is a surprise favorite of mine from this year, legit sounds like he’s pushing the genre forward on it.
