the Weeknd snubs are shocking to me. The genre categories often give big dumb energy, but the After Hours album was prolific throughout 2020. Dropping at the dawn of quarantine in NYC (and my own breakup) makes it all the more memorable (and prescient!). Plus, Blinding Lights' absence is glaring! Especially having just broken the Billboard record (40 weeks!?) makes it all the more darkly comedic. Fiona's diss, I sadly expected, but this is clueless-territory.
THIS. Usher doing Prince is the best tribute I've seen to the Purple God. Twigs was live at the Grammys...even if she didn't sing, her dancing was still more of a SERVE than Billie's warbling and Ariana's weak showing. Demi was instantly muted for me as well - singing loud does not equal singing well!

Sis...sis. I still get my jush from Bedtime Stories too, but there is not denying that this aint it. Will always respect her, but she could have stopped after Confessions and saved us all the time.
