as a massive fru fan for over 20 years, I actually think klinghoffer was doing better on the getaway then what I'm hearing here. he was likely hungrier and peaking creatively. the guitars on the getaway show him tapping into frusciante's vibe and also adding to it with tasteful classic rock and radioheadesque guitar playing and backing vocals at times. I think Frusciante stubbornly doesn't listen to rhcp albums that he's not on so didn't realize klinghoffer had pushed them further then this. also keidis actually sounded somewhat decent and subdued on the getaway. maybe the rest of this record will change my mind
Keidis knows he sucks now he’s just trollin
It’s got some swag and a great chorus. A certified banger imho
remember when this mgk dude was dancing on the table to his avril lavigne lite mall punk song at some business meeting with his label? that was the most cringy un rock n roll thing I've ever seen.
I dig steely dan but if I want a real banger I throw on one of these nights
JF is my all time favorite, however I gotta give the getaway some props as record. Keidis probably sings better on it than any other album they've done.
someone don't know how to read the room
dudes got some nerves raggin on 3EB and putting out music like this
Ya'll can't cancel my enjoyment of AP's music though! haha
i love ariel pink's music. it's the shit and you all know it. i'm not on the right but man i hate the left.
not to be a hater but i hate it. there's probably a nu metal band just starting out somewhere in idaho to watch out for too
the quirky heavy stuff is kinda of fun. the ballady melodramatic stuff is terrible
this album introduced me to atdi but I found myself going back and liking the albums that preceded it even more. also anybody get that defacto album that came before mars volta?
this is supposed to be a safe bubble where half the country and most our parents are nazis
in a just world doves would be bigger than coldplay
this dudes right, it is time to get a 'piece' especially if your living in the city in these times.
i used to think incubus was the tops when s.c.i.e.n.c.e came out. i can't think of many bands that have devolved so much over time. now i can't stand to listen to five seconds of this dudes cheesy take on mike patton
